Yes, I really have been that busy.

Sorry I haven't updated at all for a while. The only reason I have time to sit in Starbucks today and write an update is because my darling friend suggested we take the day after St Patricks day off, so we could drink our work worries to oblivion in celebration.

Turns out drinking Guinness all night doesn't give me a hangover. I thought the earlier Apple Sours shots, and the later Sambuca shots might have done it, but apparently not. I would have been a wreck for a 7am start, too true, but I was fine after sleeping till lunchtime. Not old yet!

Although I do have a birthday coming up very soon. We are thinking of going to see Grease at the theatre, and going out for dinner. Might as well make the most of the West End while we are in London!

In other location-related news, I'm going to Athens this weekend. Only a very short trip though. I will explain why I would ever make such a short trip to somewhere so amazing once I'm ready to broadcast it all over the internet. For now it is confined to the realms of phone calls and personal emails.

London is giving some proper London weather for us today. Grey, rainy, windy, and somewhat cold, but not really. Brolly day! Athens in supposed to be in the high teens while I'm there, possibly dropping to 10 overnight... which is about the warmest London has got to during the day recently! I will be fully appreciating the temperatures when I'm there I know that much.

So, I haven't forgotten about you all, and I haven't vanished off the face of the earth. I've just been very busy, and very stressed. But I think things should settle back to normal now, from this weekend. Just a normal week at work scheduled for next week. Huzzar!

Right, time to find a drug store to get something for my throat. I didn't quite get off from from the big night last night, my throat is really killing me after yelling to be heard all night. Or I might just be getting sick now that my body is allowed to relax a little. I have a terrible suspicion it might actually be the latter, I tend to be susceptible to throat lurgies, they threatened to take my tonsils out when I was 18 after a particularly nasty one. So lets just get some Strepsils down them and see if that sorts them.

My St Patricks day shoes. No further dress-up required. It was a bit hard getting a picture showing the heels, but take my word for it, they're high. Most amazing shoes ever. I had two people ask me for pictures of them. And then I lent them to a friend, who was also asked for pictures... They're just awesome sheos!
